HAIR STYLIST / COLOR TECHNICIAN As the founder of Strands, it has been my personal mission to bring together a “dream team” of beauty specialists who are talented and highly motivated. But, most importantly, a team of skilled professionals who love the beauty industry and challenge themselves to improve their skills to ensure that you – our client – receive quality services and the attention you deserve.
HAIR DESIGNER Committed to education and performance, Carmelo devotes himself to serving his clients, teaching others, and creating original designs. To keep up with the demands of his profession, Carmelo is a member of many professional organizations and has continued his studies in Paris and London. He has won numerous competitions and his work has been featured in Vogue and Mademoiselle.
HAIR DESIGNER Specializing in women's hair cutting, coloring, weaving, hili lowli, body wave, spiral perms and waxing; with advanced training in all of the best state-of-the-art products. Graduate: Janardis Beauty College, VA, 1990. Continuing education: College of Physical Art and Cosmetology, CA, 1999; Sunflower Advance Beauty College Institute of California, 2002.

HAIR DESIGNER / COLORIST I have always known that I wanted to be a hairdresser. I have been blessed with fabulous opportunities in the industry: trained at The Vidal Sassoon Academy, Santa Monica and worked at top salons in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. And, after 26 years, I still LOVE what I do. I have been a color educator for IT&LY and have educated hairdressers in the world of color for the past 13 years.

Always expanding my education to better service your needs. Certified in Brazilian Blowouts, Colorphlex, Balayage Technique, and Custom studio makeup.
CHEMICAL TECHNICIAN / STYLIST 30 years in hair design has taught me that you can never have enough education! This industry is ever changing and I pride myself on my continued education. Early in my career I was a design educator for seven years and I learned to always stay current. You will get quality service with the most current techniques in the industry.

Since beginning her career as a licensed esthetician in 2004, Nancy has pursued extensive post-graduate education, earning an advanced diploma from the International Dermal Institute with clinical certification in medical aesthetics.
Nancy has additional certification and comprehensive education in: OxyGeneo 3-in-1 Super Facial, corrective and advanced medical peels, anti-aging and acne clearance treatments, LED light therapy, Radiancy FSD MicroPhototherapy, microcurrent therapy, oxygen facials, micro-needling, and dermaplaning among her ever expanding skills and knowledge.
Nancy specializes in anti-aging skin care treatments, non-traumatic chemical peels, results-oriented skincare, and waxing. Her passion for knowledge in the dynamic, ever-changing skincare industry ensures that she is informed of the latest technologies and cutting-edge ingredients in skincare.

Constantina has a background in esthetics that would be hard to duplicate: she has a medical degree in dermatology from Athens University in Greece, and before coming back to the United States, she organized a burn clinic as her final graduate project. Her specialization in the treatment of acne, aging and hyperpigmentation are unparalleled. Constantina's European training in dermatology exposed her to techniques and procedures that were little known in the United States; and, as a result, she has a unique approach to skin care.
